		Dear customers, prospective customers and partners, Welcome to the first issue of our SKS newsletter! Good news is a good reason for a newsletter. Therefore, we would like to inform you regularly now about our latest technical developments, products and services as well as of upcoming events and exhibitions where our company will be represented. A good opportunity to personally meet us is coming soon: From 26th to 30th October 2004 SKS will be represented at the EuroBLECH exhibition in Hanover (Germany) and will introduce five new technical developments. 			New SKS products at EuroBLECH Extremely flexible: The torch system Power Joint transmits electrical power as well as all media like gas, air and wire at the same time. Exceptional features: Power Joint allows an unlimited degree of freedom of rotation. The torch accesses any position via the shortest rotational movement; no torsional stress of the torch cable/hose package arises. Furthermore: A quick replacement of the precision torch neck without tools is time saving. More information Light and powerful: The wire feeder Power Feeder PF 5 is a real featherweight with its 4 kg only. The most modern motor, gear and control technologies provide a capacity of 70 W. The casing is fully insulated; gear and motor are totally separated from the welding current. A further advantage: The new SKS wire feeder may be operated on the right or on the left side of the robot which is a great advantage when applying the Double Wire process or the special application Motor 1 / Motor 2. More information HF-free direct ignition application: Plasma-TIG allows a touchless arc ignition without high frequency. The common risks of high frequency radiation for human beings and machines are avoided. EMV-guidelines can be met without any problems. The new SKS direct ignition replaces the former contact and HF ignitions during TIG and Plasma welding. Depending on the equipment of the torch head you may vary between the welding applications Plasma and the classical TIG. More information Precise and persistent: Tough Lock is the new contact tip for robotic welding. The advantages are the absolute precision, the perfect current transmission and its long life. Perfect data control: Q8 TOOL Logging, the new SKS software upgrade, permanently records measured values and files them reliably.
