Precision at the foremost robot axis for aluminum, steel, stainless steel and high-strength steels

Torch system Frontpull 8 enhances quality and performance of robots with outer cable dress
Frontpull 8 torch system makes the process-relevant advantages of the eighth Frontpull generation available for robots with outer cable dress. This applies to the process control speed and dynamics as well as the seam quality, time savings during programming and during welding operation – and also to a longer service life of consumables, and this is true even in difficult operating conditions as with the use of soft wires from a coil. The FP8i supports mircoMIG and microMIG-cc.

Wire feeding close to the process with a compact design
A highly dynamic brushless 50W DC motor offers operational benefits that are typical for a servomotor. Its low weight allows positioning a 2-roll wire drive. This results in an extremely compact design. A second wire feed mounted on the robot arm supports the wire feeding process.

Frontpull 8: Standard collision detection
With its high modularity Frontpull 8 supports both, standard SKS consumables, and torch necks. Additionally, it makes use of standard SKS Power Clutch for collision detection.
