With SKS Welding Systems’ company-wide Compliance Management System, SKS has implemented its responsibility for its customers, its employees and other interested parties. Standards are created in order to always achieve consistent results and to constantly improve them. The standards set in this way are transferred to the subsidiaries of SKS Welding Systems GmbH. The greatest possible safety, optimum health protection, optimum use of energy, comprehensive environmental protection, high quality of our products and services as well as optimum economic efficiency are equally important company goals.
The organization of the management system is defined according to our own experience and on the basis of the DIN EN ISO 9001 standard. The system integrates requirements of the environmental protection management defined in DIN EN ISO 14001, the energy management defined in DIN EN ISO 50001, the occupational health and safety management defined in DIN EN ISO 45001. Through constant further development and continuous improvement of our management system, we want to create a long-term basis of trust between us and our customers.

Environment protection
Our company sees comprehensive environmental protection as a social obligation. Ecological objectives are part of SKS's corporate policy and are integrated into quality management as a leadership task.
The entire life cycle of our products is considered in terms of environmental and energy aspects. This requires the systematic development of methods for environmentally sound design, environmental impact assessments, disposal and recycling, and procurement guidelines for our purchasing department. However, in order to achieve an improvement in the environmental situation in the long term and to take account of the constantly improving technical possibilities, compliance with legal requirements can only be the minimum goal for our company.

Occupational safety and health
SKS Welding Systems understands occupational safety and health protection as a comprehensive, holistic management task for the prevention of accidents at work and on the way to work, the prevention of occupational illnesses, work-related health hazards and the implementation of human engineering.
Together, we want to do everything in our power to ensure safe and healthy working conditions in our company, because every accident means human suffering for those affected and their families. In addition, we know that the absence of an employee and colleague disrupts the flow of operations, affects the quality of our work and thus the satisfaction of our customers jeopardizing the success of the company.

Energy resources management
Careful use of energy resources is a quality feature of our processes and products. Continuous improvement of the energy-related performance of the entire organization is part of our corporate policy.
To this end, we regularly review our needs. This is documented and communicated across all levels within SKS Welding Systems. For environmentally critical activities and processes that are unavoidable according to the state of the art, action and emergency plans are drawn up and the necessary organizational and technical measures are taken to prevent accidental releases of substances or energy.
