SPM
(Special Purpose Machine)

The SPM welding torches from SKS were developed for applications where a robot is not required and a simple automatic machine can handle the welding task. Based on the SKS Power Clutch torch system, all robot-specific components, such as mounting flange and switch-off box, are replaced by a universal torch holder. In combination with the standard components of the SKS torch series, the SPM (Special Purpose Machine) welding system can be equipped for different environments. The SPM Weld Package has all the advantages of the SKS welding and torch systems. For perfect integration, users can choose from different torch cable lengths and the complete range of SKS torch necks.

The SPM welding torch is also available in a simpler, cost-optimized Lite version (see Weld Package SPM Lite).
