Retaining heads

Power Lock retaining heads are screwed to the torch neck and serve to distribute gas and securely hold the contact tip and gas nozzle. Particularly in the case of consumables, the precision of each individual component is very important. Otherwise, every change of consumable components may have a negative effect on the maintenance of required tolerances. In the case of several components, this effect may even multiply. For this reason, SKS consumables are produced in-house. A acme-thread ensures a secure fastening to the torch neck, and a conical surface tapered in the direction of the contact tip provides for an optimized transmission of power and heat.
