Weld process controllers:
Optimal parameters for each welding process

Our weld process controllers support the MQTT and OPC UA protocols – Industry 4.0 ready

Weld process controllers calculate optimal parameters for each welding process. From the cost-optimized Q4 (integrated in the LSQ3/5 power source) up to our high-end version Q80 and Q84r/s with touch screen and traceability function, we will meet all your expectations regarding cost efficiency and performance. The scope of delivery always includes powerful software solutions (Q8Tool) that are specially designed to meet the complex requirements of welding data management.

The power sources LSQ3 and LSQ5:
The ‘powerhouses’ of our welding machines

LSQ3 and LSQ5 power sources are true bundles of energy with an output of 340 A for the entry-level version LSQ3 and 420 A for the high-end version LSQ5. Unlike conventional inverter power sources, our power sources use Direct Control Technology to control the switching transistors without a fixed pulse frequency directly in line with the requirements of the welding process.

The UNI5 interface or the FB5 field bus solution:
For perfect integration

These interface solutions support the connection of SKS welding machines to industrial robots. For the connection between the robot and the welding machine, users are offered two general options: They can either use the UNI5 interface (analog or digital I/O) or integrate the welding machine into an existing field bus environment using the FB5 module.
