Further Customer Centers Established: SKS Extends Global Presence With Canada And France
[Kaiserslautern, 01 August 2023] Canada is currently the thirteenth largest market in the world in terms of automobile production. It is the seventh largest exporter of automobiles by value and produces approximately 1.4 million vehicles per year. Moreover, the automotive industry has a significant position in the French economy. Automobile vehicles have been built in France since 1887. In 2022, French plants produced about 1.38 million vehicles. This leads to a significant demand in both countries from automotive manufacturers and their suppliers for highly productive, highly reliable and highly available arc welding technologies.
The general business environment and our own corporate objectives form the basis for a further extension of the presence of SKS Welding Systems GmbH with Customer Centers in Canada and France. As of August 01, 2023, the expanded consulting and service capacities will be available to our customers and partners through our team in Canada and France. With that, the SKS network grows to a total of 11 Customer Centers worldwide.
